Obama won, won clearly, with an extraordinary public participation.
And as it says De Bortoli, Director of Il Sole 24 Ore quoted the words of Obama's speech:
"anything is possible if the people decide" . He adds: " were involved outsiders ".
I simply take back the slogan and I think Obama " yes, we can ", we can do it.
I remember the key words of the Obama campaign: "change" we can change- ; "hope", we can still hope. They are two extraordinary messages when compared with the climate that reigns here in Italy, a climate of fear, a climate of stagnation . Fear triggered and manipulated by the government right, immobility, bipartisan, just look at the average age of those in power, from seventy to ninety.
As Amartya Sen says, is the freedom that makes this election the American development and comfort us because they have expressed great energy and consciousness of freedom.
I wonder if the Italians will be able to express, prompted by this extraordinary American choice, the strength, vision and the desire to change, to directly participate in the change, click in society, active and conscious new leaders.
